Named after my wonderful Nana, Constance Gertrude Rose (who happens to be my number one fan and won't leave the house unless she is wearing one of my pieces), my now jewellery business began in 2003 when I moved from Yorkshire to Scotland. What started off as a hobby quickly grew into me making gifts for others (and realising not everyone may like my creations) so changes to style, design, material and sizes had to happen.
From here I started taking stalls at craft fairs and Christmas markets, which lead on to being advised to start a shop on Etsy and join the world of Facebook. Orders began to come in from people I had never met and I began to exhibit at trade events too, which is when I realised C.R.D had become a business.
I have been lucky enough to have numerous stockists, which to this day still humbles me that someone believes in my designs. I just love seeing people wear my jewellery which is payment enough, the money is just a bonus and allows me to buy more materials! I just hope people enjoy wearing my creations as much as I enjoy making them.
There is nothing worse than your favourite necklace breaking and you think you can never wear it again. We offer an affordable repair service for most jewellery items (especially beaded pieces) where we can re-string, replace ear wires, or change clasps to aid fastening. Alterations can also be done (to items made by us or another) i.e. lengthening or shortening a necklace. Please note all enquries are individual and we will only accept jobs we 100% know we can fulfill.
To upcycle something means to give it a new lease of life. If you have an old scarf or some spare drilled stones you haven't used, we can make them into a new creation you can wear. Spare beads laying around from a broken necklace can soon be transformed into a new item for you, even if half of them were never found, half a necklace equals a bracelet!
If you have just bought an outfit for a special occasion and would like jewellery custom made to match exactly, simply send a photo of your clothes and detail what you would like made and it will be done in no time. We have beads in every colour imaginable and if we don't have it, we will find it!

Easy to organise and for a good cause, these events take place in your home, (or a hall local to you could be hired). We will come armed with a huge range of products suiting all ages and budgets and 30% of all sales will go to a charity of your choice. Guilt free shopping is always a success as nobody can ever have too much jewellery and when raising money for a fabulous cause, you can't say no!
